Forged Piston Set for Ford 2.3L Ecoboost Engines by Mahle. Made from modern 2618 lightweight alloy forgings for extreme duty, featuring supported pin bosses, optimized layout for weight reduction, reduced skirt profiles for minimal friction, and gas accumulator grooves tailored for EcoBoost engines. The piston bowl maintains Ford's original profile for efficient combustion. Includes extreme duty 22.5mm internally tapered, short wrist pins. Coated with Mahle's phosphate dry lubricant (entire piston) to reduce micro-welding and pin galling, and Grafal skirt coating (piston skirt) to reduce cylinder wall friction. Hard anodized top ring grooves for increased durability and strength in high boost engines.
