The JE Pistons Wire Lock piston is a high-performance engine component. Wire locks are considered a stronger method for holding the piston pin in place compared to spiro locks, as they spread side loads over a larger area of the piston pin boss. Hook wire locks feature a built-in hook to prevent rotation.
