MIA's Description

The Mahle 4030MS-1 is a set of performance piston rings designed to minimize friction and maximize sealing. These rings feature a 1.0mm top ring, a 1.0mm second ring, and a 2.0mm oil ring. The top rings are positive twist ductile iron with a barrel-faced plasma-moly inlay, while the second rings are cast iron with a reverse twist tapered face. The oil rings are a 3-piece style.

Mahle pioneered the use of piston ring simulation and computer development tools to create rings that provide free horsepower. Their ultra-flat ring flanks ensure maximum ring-to-piston sealing, with performance benefits evident on the dyno and track.
