Piston Ring

The Mahle Performance Piston Ring Set is designed for engines with a 4.185+5 bore. It features a file fit top ring measuring 0.043", a second ring of 1.5mm, and an oil ring of 3.0mm. This ring pak utilizes standard tension oil rings.

Mahle utilizes piston ring simulation and computer development tools to create rings that minimize friction, providing free horsepower. The design includes ultra-flat ring flanks for maximum ring-to-piston sealing. Top rings are positive twist ductile iron with a barrel-faced, plasma-moly inlay, while the second rings are tapered hook groove. The oil rings are a 3-piece style with low tension.
