Description

The Hastings 2M5518005 is an engine piston ring set designed for 8-cylinder engines with a 4.250" bore. This set features file-fit rings with a top groove of 5/64", a second groove of 5/64", and a first oil groove of 3/16". The top ring is made of ductile iron with a plasma moly surface treatment, while the second ring is grey iron with a phosphate treatment. The first oil ring is constructed with a steel rail and stainless expander, featuring a chrome rail surface treatment.
