These services, the same used by top NHRA Pro Stock and NASCAR teams, are now available to the public and offer tremendous gains in durability, power through reduced friction, and improved ring seal.

MIA's Description

The JE Pistons J140F1-3518 is a set of Pro Seal piston rings designed for optimal engine performance. These rings feature a barrel-faced top ring made from premium ductile iron with a friction-reducing plasma-moly inlay. The second rings have a taper-faced, reverse-torsional design with a phosphate coating, and the oil-control rings are available in standard or low-tension types.

The top ring is 1/16 in. thick, made of carbon steel with a plasma-moly facing. The second ring is also 1/16 in. thick, constructed from iron with a phosphate coating. The oil ring is 5/32 in. thick and made of carbon steel. These piston rings are file-fit and sold as one set.
