These rings are part of the Hardened Nitrous Series, engineered with 20% more tensile strength than conventional ductile iron top rings. The construction includes a barrel-faced torsional hardened ductile iron manganese-coated top ring, a taper-faced phosphate-coated reverse torsional second ring, and standard 3-piece oil rings.
