Description

The Sealed Power E-229X engine piston ring set is a direct OE replacement designed for Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, and Oldsmobile vehicles. This standard size set features a 4.0000 inch bore diameter and is designed for 6-cylinder engines. The top ring has a barrel face design with a grey iron and phosphate coating, while the second ring utilizes a reverse torsional face design. The oil ring is a 3-piece flex vent type.

The set includes rings with specific groove widths: 5/64 inch for the top and second rings, and 3/16 inch for the oil ring. The top ring has a radial wall thickness of 0.191 inches. This piston ring set is suitable for engine rebuilds and overhauls, aiming to restore compression, improve oil control, and help maintain engine performance.
