The Carrillo Hybrid Duramax Piston & Rod Kit with H-11 Bolts is engineered for high-performance 2001-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax engines. This kit significantly reduces reciprocating weight compared to factory components, allowing for a longer rod without a deck plate, thus improving the rod-to-stroke ratio. Conservatively rated for ~1500HP, with documented cases over 2000HP. The kit includes connecting rods that are 0.202" longer and are designed to work with 0.202" shorter CH and a 1.156" Top Fuel Pin. Pistons have a 4.075" Bore and 16.5:1 CR. This combination is approximately 0.5 lbs lighter per cylinder than stock, saving about 4 lbs from the rotating assembly.
