PLASTIGAGE

The Sealed Power SPGR-1 is a Plastigage kit designed to accurately check bearing clearances. This kit includes one green strip for clearances between 0.001 and 0.003 inches, and one red strip for clearances between 0.002 and 0.006 inches.

Made from a special extruded plastic thread with controlled crush properties, this Plastigage provides a fast and accurate method for checking main and connecting rod clearances in an engine. Each calibrated envelope protects the plastic threads and serves as a scale for measurement. One package contains enough Plastigage to check clearances for one engine.
