The NOS 05151 Plate Wet Nitrous System is engineered as a direct-fit solution for specific GM Tuned Port Injection (TPI) engines. This system is designed to deliver a significant power increase, ranging from 100 to 150 horsepower, by injecting a controlled mixture of nitrous oxide and fuel into the intake manifold. It utilizes an EFI spacer plate design for easy installation between the throttle body and intake manifold. The kit includes a 10 lb 6061-T6 aluminum bottle with a blue finish and a high-flow Super Hi-Flo valve, along with steel mounting brackets. The system features a PowerShot fuel solenoid and a Super PowerShot nitrous solenoid. This nitrous system is intended for specific applications, including the 1985-1991 Chevrolet Corvette and the 1985-1992 Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird equipped with the 305/350 V8 Tuned Port Injection engine. The product is marked as legal for sale or use on Racing Use Only Vehicles, which are defined as vehicles used exclusively for competition that are not registered and may never be used on the street. It is against the law to install this part on an Emissions Controlled Vehicle. For optimal performance and to avoid potential issues like detonation, NOS recommends a high-output ignition system and a free-flowing exhaust system.
