Description

The BTR Platinum Dual Valve Spring Kit is engineered for Gen V LT V6 engines, including the LV1 and LV3 models. It supports camshafts with up to .660" of lift, making it suitable for a wide range of performance applications, from mild daily drivers to high-horsepower naturally aspirated or turbocharged builds. The kit includes 12 SP001-1 dual springs, 12 SR008-1 titanium retainers, 12 SL505060-1 locators for stock valve guides, 12 VS LS valve seals, 24 VL7°8MM-1 locks, and 12 SS015-1 shims. The springs themselves feature a rate of 155 lbs at 1.780", 380 lbs at 1.180", and 400 lbs at 1.130", with coil bind occurring at 1.070". The use of titanium retainers contributes to reduced valvetrain weight for improved performance and durability.
