The Brian Tooley Racing Platinum Dual Valve Spring Set (SP001-16) is engineered for high-performance Gen III/IV LS and Gen V LT engine applications. This set includes 16 polished dual valve springs, designed for extreme durability and consistency, allowing for worry-free high-RPM operation. Each spring pair is meticulously polished and ground to exact flatness and finish specifications, avoiding the lesser quality of chrome-plated alternatives. The springs boast a maximum valve lift of 0.660 inches and feature a spring rate of 400 lbs/in. Specific pressure ratings include 155 lbs at 1.780” installed height, 380 lbs at 1.180” open height, and 400 lbs at 1.130” open height, with a coil bind height of 1.070”. The inner diameter is 0.676", the inner OD is 0.954", the outer ID is 0.949", and the outer OD is 1.306". Locks, retainers, locators, and seals are available separately. It's important to note that this kit will not fit LS9 engines; a different part number is required for LS9 heads. The product is legal for sale and use in all 50 states.
