Show original supplier description
The Bosch Platinum Spark Plug, with part number 04E-905-612-C, is engineered for enhanced ignitability and extended performance life. It utilizes an ultra-fine wire design for its center electrode and incorporates a copper core to provide a broader heat range, helping to resist pre-ignition. The ground electrode features a tapered shape to reduce flame shrouding, promoting improved combustion, and the plug is yttrium-enhanced for wear resistance. It also includes a nickel-plated shell with rolled threads and a ribbed insulator design. This spark plug is designed as an OE replacement, ensuring optimal fit and function for compatible vehicles. It offers a 2X longer service life compared to standard copper plugs, thanks to its platinum construction and fine wire design. The fine wire design contributes to improved ignitability and performance longevity. This part fits select Audi and Volkswagen models, including the Audi A3 8V (1.4 e-tron), Volkswagen Golf VII Facelift (1.4T), and various Jetta VI and VII models equipped with the 1.4T or 1.4T Hybrid engines. It is crucial to use the vehicle selector to confirm exact fitment for your specific vehicle.
