The ZZPerformance MAF Adapter Harness provides a direct plug-and-play solution for integrating aftermarket MAF sensors into your vehicle's factory wiring. This avoids the complex and time-consuming process of cutting, splicing, or soldering wires, ensuring a cleaner and more reliable installation. ZZPerformance offers various configurations to suit different conversion needs. The "2004+ 5 to 5 wire (Series III to LQ4)" option is for 2004+ Grand Prix models converting to an LQ4 MAF sensor, utilizing the LQ4 MAF's internal IAT sensor. The "2004+ 5 to 3 wire (Series III to LT1)" option is for 2004+ Grand Prix models converting to an LT1 MAF sensor. Note that this LT1 MAF conversion will eliminate the IAT sensor, leading to a diagnostic code, as the LT1 MAF lacks an integrated IAT sensor. For a better solution that retains the IAT sensor, ZZPerformance recommends their MAF Adapter with IAT Plug. This option is particularly recommended for turbo kit installations. For Series II vehicles aiming to eliminate the factory IAT sensor and utilize the internal sensor of an LQ4 MAF, a different harness is available and recommended.
