The JB4 tuner is a plug-and-play performance enhancement for turbocharged Porsche 718 models from 2017 onwards. It integrates seamlessly with your car's ECU by connecting to sensors, allowing it to remap boost, timing, and fueling for significant performance gains and a reduction in turbo lag. This system features advanced SENT sensor technology and CANbus integration, which provides access to all engine data. This allows for unique safety protocols, such as maintaining low boost until optimal oil and water temperatures are reached, and automatically reducing boost if the engine overheats, runs lean, knocks excessively, or over-boosts. Key features include multiple tuning maps for various fuel types, including support for E85 ethanol blends, and the ability to read and delete fault codes. The JB4 also logs up to 40 engine parameters and includes boost-by-gear control for better traction. It offers a discreet installation that is fully reversible, leaving no trace when removed. The tuner operates smoothly, maintains stock fuel economy during normal driving, and is compatible with all driving modes. It is designed and assembled in the USA and comes with a 5-year warranty. Furthermore, the JB4 PRO BT Adapter allows for wireless connectivity to an iOS or Android device via Bluetooth 4.0. This enables on-the-fly map changes, extensive vehicle and tuning data analysis, and free firmware updates. The accompanying JB4PRO mobile app provides an intuitive interface with help buttons and advanced log analysis tools to estimate performance and diagnose tuning concerns. Compatible with the 2017+ Porsche 718 Cayman, Cayman S, Cayman GTS, Boxster, and Boxster S models. This tuner requires a minimum of 91 octane for optimal performance gains and is not VIN-locked, allowing for easy removal and transfer.
