Enhance your 1996–2000 BMW E36 OBD2 with the AMP Plug-N-Play ECU (AMP PNP), an evolution of the MSPNP-Pro platform utilizing MS3Pro technology for high-performance motorsports. The AMP PNP offers rock-solid reliability, advanced tuning, and proven performance with significant usability and hardware upgrades. This ECU is compatible with the following vehicles equipped with Manual Transmissions: 1996-1999 E36 BMW 328i (M52), 1996-1999 E36 BMW M3 (S52), 1995-1998 E39 BMW 528i (M52), 1995-1998 E38 BMW 728i (M52), 1997-1998 E36/7 BMW Z3 2.8i (M52), and 1997-2000 E36/7 BMW Z3M (S52). Important compatibility notes include: European Market E36 M3 and 1997-2000 South African Market Land Rover Defender (M52) compatibility are not confirmed. It is not compatible with M52TU DME (Siemens MS42), but it is a direct replacement for Siemens MS41.x DME. Optional integrated wideband O2 control is available, eliminating the need for external modules and wiring, utilizing Bosch-based technology and LSU 4.9 sensor compatibility for a cleaner, faster setup and improved reliability. Expanded I/O is provided through a 48-pin rear options connector, offering 8 Analog Inputs, 4 Digital Inputs, 2 Speed Inputs, and 9 Outputs for greater flexibility. Dedicated rear spark outputs simplify Coil-On-Plug (COP) upgrades without complex repinning.
