The Turbosmart Kompact Universal Plumb Back BOV (TS-0203-1222) is engineered to replace your vehicle's factory bypass valve, offering improved performance and durability. Constructed from black anodized aluminum, this blow-off valve is built to withstand high boost pressures while ensuring superior flow and structural integrity. This Kompact BOV features a plumb-back design, meaning all bypassed air is recirculated back into the intake system, which is often preferred for its quieter operation and to avoid issues with emissions control systems. The vacuum source cap features an AN#3 thread, with an included standard swivel nipple that can be replaced with an AN#3 fitting if desired. Installation involves removing the factory BOV and connecting the Kompact PB BOV using the supplied hose clamps. It is crucial to ensure the factory hoses are in good condition. For optimal response and performance, minimize the length of the vacuum hose.
