Description

The Monroe 15-0812 is a GT-Gas shock absorber featuring Reflex Technology. This technology provides excellent vehicle stability and handling without sacrificing comfort. The refined valving system, with Twin Disc Technology, offers a balance of firm damping for handling and softer damping for a comfortable ride.

This shock absorber is designed with a revolutionary disc valve set that partially opens at low piston speeds for firm maneuvers during low-speed cornering or lane changes. At higher piston speeds, caused by bumps, potholes, or emergency braking, an intermediate disc is activated to increase oil flow, enhancing stability and road handling. The rebound on this shock absorber also utilizes a twin disc design with a unique backing plate to meter oil flow according to driving conditions.
