The PMAS N-MT12-1 Velocity Air Intake System is engineered to significantly enhance airflow compared to the stock intake on 2011-2014 Mustang GT 5.0L Coyote V8 models. Utilizing computational fluid dynamic (CFD) data, this system features a massive 120mm intake tube with a patented mass air flow sensing system that ensures no MAF resolution loss. The unique velocity stack inlet design is crafted to maximize airflow without inducing turbulence, promoting smooth and stable idle air flow for optimal drivability. Included with the intake system is a high-flow, reusable S&B air filter. This filter employs a multi-layer design with specially treated cotton media to capture contaminants effectively, preventing them from entering the engine. The reusable nature of the filter allows for cleaning, re-oiling, and reinstallation, offering a cost-effective long-term solution. However, it is crucial to note that the installation of this PMAS Velocity Cold Air Intake necessitates a computer tune (ECU reprogramming) to unlock its full performance potential and ensure proper operation. Furthermore, this product is not legal for sale or use in California or any other state that has adopted California emission standards, and is intended for off-road use only on pollution-controlled vehicles.
