Developed with advanced metallurgical and geometric technologies, these bearings are ideal for performance applications utilizing forged steel aftermarket crankshafts. The set utilizes a unique tri-metal structure known as pMax Black, which is 24% harder than conventional tri-metal race bearings. The surface is further protected by a factory-applied pMaxKote polymer coating, which includes ceramic nano-composite particles to enhance wear, seizure, and cavitation resistance without altering the bearing's precision wall thickness. These bearings offer significant performance benefits, including improved load distribution across the bearing face and a more stable hydrodynamic lubrication regime. By optimizing oil passage capacity and heat transfer, the XP-series provides higher oil supply reliability. The set is compatible with select Nissan and Infiniti engines, including the VR38DETT found in the 2009+ Nissan GT-R and 2012+ Nissan Juke-R, as well as various VQ35HR and VQ37VHR engine configurations.
