Its mono-tube damper design provides precise and consistent dampening, contributing to a lower ride height and a more stable overall feel. Key features include a protective dust boot, a durable PNE coating that offers five times the longevity of standard galvanizing and simplifies height adjustments, and an optimized M shaft for firm damping response. The suspension utilizes pillow ball upper mounts for enhanced steering accuracy and a newly designed needle valve to refine low, medium, and high-speed dampening for improved ride quality. To minimize unsprung weight, HKS has constructed the brackets, ride height adjusters, and lock nuts from aluminum. This kit offers 30 levels of damping force adjustment, allowing for fine-tuning to suit various driving conditions, from city streets and winding roads to highways. This specific kit is designed for the Subaru Forester SJ5 and SJG models. However, it is important to note that while many components are made from aluminum to reduce unsprung weight, these may not be suitable for all vehicles.
