The Rockford Fosgate MX-CAM-RNGR18 is a purpose-built installation kit designed to integrate the MX-CAM motorsports backup camera into select Polaris Ranger models. This kit facilitates mounting in the factory location, offering compatibility for both upper and lower bracket fitment on 2018 and newer Polaris Ranger vehicles. Installation is simplified through a plug-and-power design, utilizing a common main harness and a vehicle-specific T-harness for error-free electrical connections. This kit includes a high-resolution color camera that provides a clear picture for backing up or off-road navigation. It features vehicle-specific mounting brackets for a direct fit. The harness connects directly to Rockford Fosgate PMX-3 and PMX-8 source units, and includes an integrated trigger wire adapter with a red/blue backlit rocker switch that snaps into an open slot for instant camera view activation. As of a November 2024 update, the kit also includes a bezel and rubber gasket for seamless integration into factory-equipped Ranger dash systems. It is important to note that this kit requires the separate purchase of the matching MX-CAM motorsports backup camera. The kit is compatible with PMX-3 and PMX-8 source units.
