The Titan Motorsports Polycarbonate Front Windshield is engineered as a direct replacement for the MKIV Toyota Supra. Constructed from 3/16” thick polycarbonate, it precisely matches the shape and contour of the original equipment windshield, enabling the use of factory seals and trim during installation. A black-out border is permanently screen-printed to conceal sealant and provide a scratch-resistant finish. Replacing the factory glass with this polycarbonate option offers a significant weight reduction, typically saving 10-12 lbs per piece, which can result in over 20 lbs of total weight savings when both front and rear glass are replaced. The windows also feature a permanent anti-fog coating and a durable mar-resistant coating for chemical resistance and protection against light abrasion. For vehicles subjected to sustained high-speed travel, the manufacturer recommends installing bracing to mitigate potential deflection. It is important to note that the current version of this windshield is completely clear and does not feature the black outline mentioned in some descriptions.
