The Outerwears pre-filter is an air filter wrap manufactured from durable polyester material. The silicone-impregnated micro-mesh is water-resistant and includes dielectrically welded seams.

The Outerwears pre-filter provides a protective barrier for your air intake system by filtering out debris as small as .005 inches. Constructed from durable polyester, the material uses uniform micron-sized openings to ensure consistent airflow without significant restriction. The mesh is silicone-impregnated to enhance water resistance, and the unit features dielectrically welded seams for increased longevity. This pre-filter is compatible with the following vehicles: 2008-2011 Can-Am DS 450, 2014 Can-Am DS 450, 2012 Can-Am DS 450 EFI, 2012 Can-Am DS 450 EFI X mx, 2012 Can-Am DS 450 EFI X xc, 2008 Can-Am DS 450 X, 2009-2011 Can-Am DS 450 X mx, 2013-2015 Can-Am DS 450 X mx, 2009-2011 Can-Am DS 450 X xc, and 2014-2015 Can-Am DS 450 X xc. Installation requires surface preparation of the filter top area, typically involving cleaning and the application of a mounting system such as Velcro.
