Standard hydraulic engine mounts allow the drivetrain to move independently of the chassis under load, potentially compromising vehicle balance and handling. These performance mounts address this by employing specialized polyurethane bushings. The polyurethane construction offers a firmer, more direct driving feel, enhancing driver feedback without causing the ride quality issues or knock sensor problems sometimes associated with solid engine mounts. The RSS #624 mounts are designed to minimize drivetrain movement during acceleration, deceleration, and cornering, leading to a more stable and responsive driving experience. These engine mounts are compatible with a wide range of Porsche 996 and 997 models, including all variants such as C2, C4, C4S, Turbo, GT2, GT3, and GT3 RS. They are a direct replacement for factory hydraulic engine mounts.
