By significantly reducing engine movement, this upgraded mount enhances driver feedback, improves throttle response, and contributes to quicker gear shifts. The construction utilizes a combination of durable materials, including billet aluminum for a lightweight yet strong body with a black anodized finish, and precision-machined black zinc coated steel sleeves within the polyurethane. These sleeves ensure proper bolt torque can be applied for secure installation. The core of the mount features 70A durometer polyurethane, chosen after extensive testing to strike an optimal balance between performance and daily driving comfort, providing enhanced driver feedback without excessive harshness. CorkSport backs this product with a 2-year limited warranty and provides full-color installation instructions and customer support. It is compatible with the 2014-2018 Mazda3 (2.0L and 2.5L, BM and BN chassis), the 2014-2017 Mazda6, and the 2013-2017 Mazda CX-5. A notable consideration with this performance upgrade is the potential increase in Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) within the vehicle cabin due to the increased stiffness. Vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions or those frequently using the air conditioning system may experience further increases in NVH.
