This set features a 262 duration with an intake cam lift of 10.3mm and an exhaust cam lift of 9.8mm, utilizing a VALC material construction. The camshaft profile is specifically optimized for 'velocity' and 'acceleration', making it suitable for high-power setups. By optimizing the camshaft profile with a focus on 'velocity' and 'acceleration' and deliberately reducing maximum cam velocity, it maximizes lobe travel on the valve lifter without exceeding its outer edge. This design helps prevent damage to both the camshaft lobes and the valve lifters, reducing stress and wear on the valve train components. For proper installation and operation, it is crucial to note that this Tomei Poncam Camshaft Set requires the usage of Valve Spring Part number TA304A-MT02A.
