The Tomei PONCAM Camshafts (TA301A-SB02A) are performance camshafts specifically designed for Subaru EJ255/257 engines featuring Single AVCS. These drop-in camshafts offer a 254-degree duration and a 10.30mm lift on both intake and exhaust valves, aiming to optimize torque characteristics and increase horsepower. Tomei has engineered these PONCAMs to achieve a well-balanced profile, providing 1.3 to 1.5 times more effective valve area than regular camshafts. This design enhances engine efficiency, boosts acceleration, improves overall engine response, and contributes to a stable idle. A key benefit is that they are compatible with stock valve springs and do not require adjustments to valve timing, simplifying installation. These camshafts are suitable for a range of Subaru models, including the 2006-2014 WRX, 2004-2007 STI, 2005-2009 Legacy GT, and 2004-2013 Forester XT.
