Pontiac 4-Bolt Main Bare Block Builder Kit

This kit provides the core components for building a powerful engine, targeting a horsepower range of 600-700 HP and displacement between 505-535 cubic inches. It is built around a robust IAII Aftermarket Block, specifically an Aftermarket Pontiac Block with a 4-bolt main and an upgraded main stud kit, with a dipstick tube already installed. The heart of this kit is the Butler Ross Rotating Assembly, which includes a forged crank available in either a 4.250 or 4.500-inch stroke, paired with 6.800-inch H-beam rods and BP Ross pistons with pins and Total Seal rings. It also features a high-volume oil pump, a BP Billet gear and chain set, and a SFI damper for reliable operation. Included in the kit are BP Built 340 CNC Ported Edelbrock Heads with Ferrea Valves, Comp Springs, Locks, and Chromoly Retainers. Valvetrain components consist of a BP/COMP Hyd Roller Cam, Hyd Roller Lifters, BP Custom Pushrods, and Roller Rockers. For the intake system, a port-matched intake manifold is provided, along with an aluminum valley pan, and a Flowkooler water pump. Additionally, the kit comes with a new 11-bolt timing cover, plates, and sleeves, an MSD Ignition Kit, an IMI Starter, and options for engine paint and valve covers. A Canton oil pan and pickup are also supplied. It is important to note that this is a builder kit and is shipped unassembled. It requires assembly by the end-user or a professional engine builder.
