MIA's Description

The United Engine & Machine KB422.040 is a set of hypereutectic pistons designed for Pontiac 400ci engines. These pistons feature a solid dome top with 10.0cc 2-valve reliefs and a 4.160" bore size, accounting for a +.040" overbore.

Constructed from Hypereutectic 390 Alloy, these pistons are intended for use with a 6.630" connecting rod and a 3.750" crankshaft stroke. They offer a compression height of 1.710" and a calculated compression ratio of 9.4:1 with 100cc combustion chamber heads. The ring grooves are sized for 5/64'' top, 5/64'' middle, and 3/16'' bottom rings.
