Icon Pistons are crafted from a high-ductile 2618 alloy with 1% silicon content, specifically formulated and heat-treated for demanding high-performance applications such as very high compression ratios, boosted applications, and nitrous use. Key features include CNC machined crown and valve reliefs, top land mini-groove technology, and an accumulator groove designed to eliminate flutter and maximize ring seal. The skirt and pin boss struts are engineered to withstand heavy loads from high cylinder pressures. Each set includes wrist pins and spiral lock rings, but piston rings (1/16", 1/16", 3/16") are sold separately.
