Overview

The Ferrea F6178-8 is a set of ultimate race exhaust valves designed for Pontiac V8 engines. These valves are constructed from stainless steel and feature a 1.770-inch head diameter, a 11/32-inch valve stem diameter, and a length of 5.230 inches. They are part of the 6000 Series, offering high fatigue resistance and tensile strength for demanding racing applications.

They are suitable for Drag and Oval Track racing and are manufactured using Ferrea's exclusive two-step slow forging process. The valves undergo triple heat treatment, stress relieving, grinding, coating, and have hard chrome stems and friction-welded hard tips with a swirl-polished head to improve flow.
