The March Performance Pontiac Ultra Serpentine Conversion Kit is a one-belt drive system designed to run off a standard rotation 1969 or later water pump. This kit replaces factory drive setups with a modern serpentine design to eliminate belt throwing while improving engine bay aesthetics. Each component is CNC machined from solid 6061-T6 billet aluminum for enhanced durability and strength.

The March Performance Pontiac Ultra Serpentine Conversion Kit provides a reliable, high-strength solution for upgrading engine drive systems. This system utilizes a serpentine belt design that prevents belt slippage and throwing, while CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum components offer increased wear resistance and a refined appearance for the engine compartment. All parts are finished with a maintenance-free clear or black powder coat to prevent the need for polishing in tight spaces. Technical configuration requires a 1968 or newer balancer (without a v-groove) and a 1969 or newer 11-bolt water pump. The system features a spring-loaded tensioner with stainless steel rods and chrome moly ends for precise tensioning. Please note that for 1971-1974 applications, the return hose clocking will differ from original specifications but remains compatible with this setup. Users should also note the pump type distinction: keyed pumps were used through 1976, while press-fit pumps were used in 1977 and later models. This specific kit requires a 49.5-inch belt.
