Overview

The Pro Race 64275 is an all-steel SFI race harmonic balancer designed for racing and high-performance street applications. It is a direct replacement for stock cast iron balancers, which are often not permitted by racing sanctioning bodies due to potential failure. This Pro Race balancer is also recommended for belt-driven supercharger applications to handle increased torque loads.

This harmonic balancer exceeds SFI Spec 18.1 and is spin-tested to 18,000 RPM. It features a billet steel inertial ring and hub, a specially formulated bonded elastomer, and is 100% CNC machined. The unit includes 60 degrees of engraved timing marks. For installation on 1961-1968 models, a 1969 model timing chain cover, water pump, and associated components are required.
