This intake features a hood-sealed heat shield to ensure cold air temperatures reach the filter element. It is designed for maximum airflow and produces a real 6.5+ hp increase at the wheels.

The Z1 and JWT PG353-1XCN8 Pop Charger is an air intake system specifically designed for the Infiniti G35. This pop-charger is engineered for maximum airflow, utilizing a 6-inch diameter venturi surrounded by an oiled gauze filter element. The system includes a heat shield to ensure that the filter element receives cold outside air temperatures, contributing to its performance gains. The aluminum venturis are constructed from lightweight cast aluminum and are CNC machined for a quality fit. This intake system consistently outperforms extended piping systems on the G35, while also mitigating the risk of water ingestion associated with remote filter positioning. Installation is described as easy, and the product comes complete with the intake, adapter, heat shield, and bracket. The PG353-1XCN8 is also 50-state emission legal. It is designed to fit the Infiniti G35 models equipped with the VQ35DE engine. The reusable filter element can be cleaned and re-oiled. Performance gains are estimated at around 6-7 RWHP, and users can expect a noticeable, aggressive sound from the engine. The product is listed as compatible with 2003-2007 G35 Coupes and 2003-2006 G35 Sedans. Note that some 2005-2007 Coupe models with the VQ35DE (RevUp, M/T Only) are also specified, and the 2007 G35 Sedan with the VQ35HR engine is also listed.
