The Offenhauser 6071 Port-O-Sonic intake manifold is engineered to optimize performance for Ford 289 and 302 V8 engines. This single-plane aluminum manifold features specially designed plenums and runners that precisely match the volume requirements of these specific engines, resulting in maximum power gains. A key benefit of this design is the elimination of the "lean/rich" condition that can occur between cylinders with other aftermarket intake manifolds, ensuring a more consistent and powerful fuel mixture. Designed for competition use, the Port-O-Sonic 6071 is capable of significant increases in power across a wide RPM range, from as low as 2,000 rpm up to 8,500 rpm. It is intended for use with a 4-barrel carburetor and is compatible with Ford 260, 289, 302, and 5.0L engines manufactured from 1963 onwards.
