These pads are manufactured using a positive molding process for consistent friction material density and even wear. They feature precision-cut or shaved backing plates and mechanically attached shims to ensure proper fitment and minimize noise.

The Extended Wear compound provides low brake rotor wear and stable friction performance across a wide temperature range, making them an excellent choice for fleet service and heavy-duty applications. The pads undergo a scorching process to force out impurities and pre-burnish them for an accelerated break-in period. All PosiQuiet friction formulations are asbestos-free.
