Description

The Stoptech PosiQuiet Semi Metallic brake pads are manufactured using the same positive molding process as Original Equipment suppliers. This process uses extreme pressure to compress and bond the friction material to the backing plate, ensuring consistent density for even wear and performance. The pads feature precision-cut or shaved backing plates and mechanically attached shims to virtually eliminate noise and vibration. All Posi Quiet pads undergo a scorching process to remove impurities and pre-burnish the pads, accelerating the break-in period.
