The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1906D-P is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically designed for 1998 and 1999 Ford Expedition models. It features a 3.73 gear ratio and a robust 9.75-inch Ford ring gear with a Posi Traction (LSD) differential. This axle assembly is built to exacting standards. Zumbrota Drivetrain ensures all tubes are straightened to OEM specifications and housings are thoroughly tested for cracks or surface wear. A comprehensive 100% inspection is performed on all internal parts, including the ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carrier. To guarantee longevity and performance, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new components. The housing undergoes a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process, restoring it to an OEM finish. During the remanufacturing process, precise rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements to ensure optimal setup and extended service life. Please note that this assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which may need to be transferred from the original unit or sourced separately.
