The ACDelco 12589440 is a GM Original Equipment Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve, serving as a crucial emission control component. Functioning as a critical part of your emission system, the PCV valve controls the flow of crankcase vapors into the intake manifold. Over time, a restricted or failing PCV valve can lead to significant issues such as increased oil consumption and potential oil leaks. Replacing it with a direct OE equivalent like the ACDelco 12589440 ensures proper ventilation and helps maintain engine health. This PCV valve is manufactured to meet GM OE specifications for fit, form, and function. It features metal construction with a painted exterior finish and has two ports, each with a 0.5-inch inlet and outlet connection type for positive crankcase ventilation. The valve is designed as a direct fit for a wide range of GM vehicles, including various Buick, Chevrolet, Pontiac, and Saturn models from approximately 2007 to 2016. A 12-month/12,000-mile warranty is provided for parts only.
