Description

A brake booster assists in pushing the master cylinder piston when the brakes are applied, multiplying pedal force to decrease stopping distances. Requires a consistent supply of 18-21 inches of vacuum. Fuel and oil vapors can prematurely deteriorate the internal diaphragm. Adjustment/replacement of the brake light switch may be necessary after replacement. This is a remanufactured vacuum-type unit with a single diaphragm, made of steel housing.
