The Racingline Power Control Module (PCM) is a sophisticated plug-in tuning box specifically designed for the Audi RS6 and RS7 (C8) models featuring the 4.0 TFSI V8 engine. It offers a secure and completely reversible method to unlock substantial power and torque gains, circumventing the need for a full ECU remap. This makes it an excellent option for leased vehicles, cars still under warranty, or instances where a full ECU calibration is not yet available. Developed and calibrated in-house by Racingline's expert team over an extensive testing period, the PCM ensures that power increases are delivered within safe operating parameters. It functions by running on a standalone PCB that communicates directly with the factory ECU, intelligently adjusting key signals rather than rewriting the ECU's software. This approach allows the engine to produce more power and torque safely, and the unit can be easily removed at any time to restore the vehicle to its original factory state. When fitted to GPF-equipped Audi RS6 C8 and RS7 C8 models with the 4.0 TFSI 600PS engine, the PCM delivers impressive performance enhancements. Power increases from the standard 600PS to 689PS, while torque rises from 800Nm (590 lb/ft) to 934Nm (689 lb/ft). These upgrades translate to sharper throttle response, a more potent mid-range pull, and noticeably increased urgency at higher engine speeds, all while maintaining the refined driving characteristics expected from these vehicles. As a unique benefit, every PCM customer is entitled to a free upgrade to Racingline’s OEM+ ECU calibration once it becomes available, provided the PCM was purchased from an authorized Racingline OEM+ dealer. However, it is important to note that any tuning modification, including a tuning box, can potentially invalidate your manufacturer’s engine and powertrain warranty. If a dealer identifies the PCM, they may be entitled to reject warranty claims related to the engine or drivetrain. The PCM is fully removable, and while it leaves minimal trace on the ECU, there is no guarantee of warranty safety, and installation is at the customer's own risk.
