Power-Division Beehive Valve Springs

The GSC Power-Division GSC5039 is a set of 16 beehive valve springs engineered as a direct replacement for the factory springs in the Mitsubishi Evolution VIII and IX (2003-2006). Constructed with an ovate wire and advanced material heat treatment, GSC beehive springs offer superior load loss capabilities and excellent fatigue life. The beehive design allows for the use of smaller, lighter retainers, which can lead to higher RPM limits and improved valve control, supporting a maximum valve lift of 0.539 inches and a maximum RPM of 8,200. The springs provide 85 lbs of pressure at 1.539 inches for intake and 92 lbs at 1.519 inches for exhaust at their installed height. At 11.00mm lift, they offer 223 lbs for intake and 237 lbs for exhaust. The product is specified for the 2003-2006 Evolution VIII IX models only and is not compatible with Evo 1-7 or DSM vehicles; for those applications, the GSC5040 is recommended.
