Description

This innovative system, inspired by racing intake funnels, channels air directly into the lower funnel at the base, a concept proven successful in previous models. The ideal funnel shape, created with durable injected resin, increases air speed while maintaining optimal airflow direction, with a specific 14-degree curve on the lower funnel enhancing efficiency and reducing dead spots. Constructed with a newly developed dry-density fiber layer filter, this intake provides increased element density for maximum protection against foreign materials entering the engine. It reduces ventilation resistance by approximately 10% compared to previous models, delivering optimal performance and protection. This Power Intake kit is designed for a bolt-on installation and is compatible with Mazda RX-7 models from 1989-1991 and 1993-1995, including both FC3S and FD3S chassis with 13BT and 13B-REW engines.
