Power Dual Funnel Dry Air Filter

The APEXi Power Intake Replacement Air Filter (500-A021) is engineered to maximize horsepower by optimizing airflow. Its unique dual funnel design, inspired by racing intakes, channels air into lower funnels at the base of the cleaner for increased speed and smooth flow. The upper funnel directs air into the lower ones, improving upon previous designs. Constructed with a durable injected resin for the funnel shapes, this filter focuses on increasing air speed without altering the intake air's flow direction. The lower funnel is designed with a 14-degree curve and positioned closer to the base to reduce drag and eliminate dead spots. The filter element utilizes a newly developed dry-density fiber material, enhancing density for superior protection against foreign materials entering the engine. This dry-type filter also boasts approximately 10% less ventilation resistance (pressure loss) than previous models, contributing to both performance and protection. Unlike wet-type filters, it avoids issues like oil sticking to the airflow meter and is essentially maintenance-free, with cost-effective replacements when needed. Key specifications include an outer diameter of 160mm, an inner diameter of 85mm, and an air flow diameter of 90mm. The filter is a dry-type element.
