The Fujitsubo POWER Getter typeRS is a next-generation sport muffler engineered to prioritize exhaust efficiency for the BNR32 Skyline GT-R. Designed with large-diameter piping, an optimized layout, and a specific silencer structure, this system is intended to deliver increased torque and power, contributing to a more exhilarating driving experience on the street. This exhaust system features a distinctive round-type silencer and a short, straight tailpipe with a φ114 diameter. The piping ranges from 76.3φ to 89.1φ, offering improved flow characteristics. Performance gains are evident when comparing the Fujitsubo system to the standard configuration. Peak power increases from 299.6ps at 7090rpm to 320.4ps at 6740rpm, and peak torque sees an increase from 37.2kg･m at 5250rpm to 37.9kg･m at 5190rpm. While the standard exhaust idles at a quiet 69dB, the Fujitsubo POWER Getter typeRS produces 76dB at idle, with higher decibel levels at various RPMs, including 98dB at 5100rpm and 109dB at its peak performance range of 4000rpm-6000rpm. The Fujitsubo POWER Getter typeRS is designed specifically for the BNR32 Skyline GT-R, model code E-BNR32, equipped with the RB26DETT engine, manufactured between August 1989 and January 1995. The system maintains a minimum ground clearance of 102mm at the center pipe section, measured 135mm rearward of the axle, with a roof height of 1300mm (vehicle inspection certificate 1340mm).
