Power Intake Funnel

The APEXi Power Intake adapter flange (Model #500-AA01) is a universal component engineered to optimize airflow and enhance engine performance. It utilizes a unique Dual Funnel design, building upon the success of the Super Intake model, to efficiently channel air into the lower funnels. This design minimizes intake turbulence and increases air speed for a smoother, more powerful flow into the engine. Constructed from a highly durable injected resin, the ideal funnel shape allows for increased air velocity without altering the intake air's direction. The lower funnel is specifically engineered with a 14-degree curve for maximum efficiency, positioned closer to the base to reduce drag and eliminate dead spots. This adapter flange is compatible with the APEXi Power Intake filter (Type 01 - 500-A023) and features a 65mm inner diameter and a 71mm outer diameter outlet. The Power Intake system uses a dry-type filter made from a newly developed material with improved element density. This provides excellent protection against foreign materials entering the engine. Compared to older models, it offers approximately a 10% reduction in ventilation resistance (pressure loss), contributing to both maximum performance and engine protection. This dry-type filter is virtually maintenance-free, eliminating concerns associated with oil contamination of the air flow meter common in wet-type cleaners. Filter replacement, when necessary, is cost-effective.
