The Focal IC TOY 165 is a 2-way coaxial speaker kit engineered as a direct replacement for original audio systems in select Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru models. The speaker drivers utilize Focal's Polyglass cone technology, which applies fine glass microbeads to a cellulose pulp cone. This construction combines excellent damping with rigidity, resulting in a linear frequency response and significantly improved midrange definition. Complementing the midrange is an Aluminium inverted dome tweeter, a Focal signature since 1981, known for its superior spatial dispersion, low directivity, and high-finesse treble reproduction without distortion. Mounting accessories are included to facilitate the process. The high sensitivity of these speakers allows for a significant gain in sound performance even when using the original vehicle amplification.
