The Rockford Fosgate Power Series T1D215 is a 15-inch dual 2-Ohm voice coil subwoofer engineered to deliver impressive bass output. It boasts 1,000 Watts RMS power handling and a maximum of 2,000 Watts. The FlexFit basket design offers flexibility for installation. Constructed with a Kevlar fiber reinforced paper cone and a rigid die-cast aluminum basket, the T1D215 is built for durability. It incorporates an anodized aluminum heat sinking dust cap and an anodized aluminum voice coil former for superior heat dissipation, crucial for high SPL conditions. The dual progressive roll poly-cotton spiders and periodic-stitched tinsel leads contribute to its reliability and fatigue resistance. Features like optimized pole piece and spider venting, along with a high-temp voice coil with a Nomex® reinforcement collar, further enhance its performance and longevity. Key specifications include a 3.0" voice coil diameter, a mounting depth of 8.39", and an SPL of 87.9 dB @ 1w/1m. It is CEA-2031 compliant. The subwoofer is compatible with specific enclosure volumes, with a recommended vented box volume of 2.66 cu. ft. and a sealed box volume of 2.25 cu. ft.
